Oven Roasted Potatoes

January 4, 2012 by The Perfectly Imperfect One

This recipe is on the Lipton Onion Soup mix, so it’s easy to find, and it is AMAZING!! And so very easy.

The recipe calls for 2 pounds of potatoes, I used 4 medium potatoes, not the 2 pounds, and it turned out wonderful!

Prep time; 20 minutes, cook time 40 minutes

2 pounds potatoes (either red or white, I used russet)

1 package Liptons onion soup mix (I only used half a pack because I wanted a small batch)

1/4 cup oil, either olive or vegetable. (I used a nice oil mixture I bought at sunflower that had garlic and basil in it).

Preheat oven to 450 degrees, wash potatoes thoroughly, dice into bite sized cubes. Place in a large plastic bag (I used a bowl with a lid). Pour oil over potatoes, then add the onion mix, shake shake shake until thoroughly covered. Place in a glass pan large enough to fit the potatoes.

Bake for about 40 minutes (mine took about 30 since it was small).
