TnT’s Mac & Cheese- It’s Dynamite!

TnT's Mac & Cheese

16 oz Elbow Noodles (macaroni noodles, we used quick cook mac noodles, takes 3 minutes to cook).

16 oz Sour Cream

4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2 tsp Bon Appetite Season Salt

2 1/2 tbsp Siracha chili sauce

1/4 tsp Cajun Seasonin

1/4 Garlic Powder

1 1/2 tsp Seasonal Season Salt

1/2 tsp Paprika

1 cup 2% milk

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

1/2 cup bread crumbs

Veggie of choice (we used 1 cup frozen peas)

1 cup cubed ham (no ham for vegetarian)

You will need a greased 9 x 13 glass dish, I greased it with butter. A large mixing bowl.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Boil the noodles until they are ALMOST done, you will be baking them so make sure they aren’t fully cooked. You will use 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, the Parmesan, and the bread crumbs for the topping. While boiling the noodles, take 3 cups of cheese, the sour cream, veggie and ham, milk and seasonings and mix thoroughly in mixing bowl. Once noodles are boiled and drained, pour into bowl with cheese mixture and mix until all noodles are covered with the sauce. Pour mixture into greased dish and smooth to corners. Top with the leftover shredded cheese, the Parmesan, and the bread crumbs (in that order). Then bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and it looks done.

Mac and Cheese

Made this on Friday night, and as the title says, IT IS DYNAMITE!  Next time, we will be adding more Siracha chili sauce, we like a bit of spice and adding a bit more will be good for a nice KICK! This makes a nice amount of mac and cheese and it would work for a full meal since it has meat and veggies in it, but you can have it on the side of something too, I recommend this as a side dish to shake and bake pork chops. They make great leftovers and T.J.’s says it’s great cold too 🙂
