T.J.’s Nuts and Noodles
Fettuccine noodles (half pound dried)
1 can water chestnuts (sliced)
1 cup frozen peas
4 tbls kikkoman teriyaki sauce
1 pkg A Taste of Tai pad tai sauce
1 tbls siracha sauce (Spicy stuff, use less if you want less kick)
2.5 ounces House of Tsang Bangkok Padang Peanut sauce
1 can chicken (or 1 package of chicken, already cooked)
Boil noodles, while boiling noodles in large sauce pan grill water chestnuts, peas, half packet of pad tai sauce, siracha sauce, and chicken over medium heat, covered. When noodles done, combine noodles with sauce and increase to medium high, add the other half of the pad tai sauce and the Peanut sauce. Mix it all together and serve once mixed.
T.J. made this dish last week and it was delicious, and I highly recommend it. It has a bit of a kick to it with the siracha in it, but not too much that it kills your mouth. If you don’t eat meat, just remove the chicken from the recipe, and I am sure it will still be very tasty. 🙂 If you make this on your own, please let us know how it turns out.
